What personal information do we collect?
When you or your company or business enter into a lease or contract with us for the provision of services, products or equipment, we may collect some or all of the following information which may be personal information:
- name, address and telephone number
- e-mail address and facsimile number
- Business information relating to the operation of your business
- Banking information, including name and address of bank and account numbers
- credit card information
- social insurance number
- credit information as provided by credit reporting agencies or trade references
Provision of a Social Insurance Number is optional. However, you should be aware that most Credit Reporting Agencies use the Social Insurance Number as a unique identifier to ensure proper identification when conducting credit reviews and preparing credit reports. Sometimes we have to share personal information with others
We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do provide personal information to consumer or credit reporting agencies in accordance with applicable provincial law. We may also share some or all of the personal information which we collect with service providers who assist us in providing our products and services. An individual has a right to access the personal information which we have about him or her and to request that personal information which he or she believes to be inaccurate be corrected. The only information Pitney Bowes collects and stores during normal Web Site usage is the name of your Internet Service Provider, the web site you last visited, the pages you request and the date and time of those requests. Pitney Bowes uses this information to generate statistics and measure site activity to improve the usefulness of customer visits. During normal Web Site usage, Pitney Bowes does not collect or store personal information such as name, mailing address, email address or phone number.
Collection of Personal Information:
The amount and type of personal information, such as your name, mailing address, email address or phone number, that we collect about you during visits to this Web Site depends on how you use this site. Pitney Bowes collects personal information from you in the following circumstances:

When you purchase products through this Web Site, we collect your credit card and other payment information and keep a history of your purchases.
